Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba is Back on X Just a Week After Departure

Just a week after announcing his departure on January 9, 2025, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces and son of President Yoweri Museveni, has returned to X (formerly Twitter). He had promised to step away to focus on his military duties and thanked his followers for their support. However, he is now back, and his comeback tweets remain unchanged—akin to his now-deleted controversial tweets of threats to arrest and behead political figures, plans to capture neighbouring countries, and claims to marry off every beauty queen you’ve ever known.
