After months of controversy and summons by the Parliamentary Committee, Phaneroo Ministries International is finally set to utilise its Naguru land. This announcement was made by the church’s lead pastor, Apostle Grace Lubega, during the mega church’s Thursday fellowship on September 26 at their former meeting grounds, UMA Upper Grounds in Lugogo.
Where is Phaneroo Located?
Phaneroo Newground is located on the Nakawa-Naguru land in Naguru, Uganda, accessible via Naguru Link, adjacent to Lugogo Mall off Kampala-Jinja Road, and directly opposite Naguru General Hospital (China-Uganda Friendship Hospital Naguru). This land, situated past KCCA FC Stadium (also known as MTN-Omondi Stadium), was allocated for development to various individuals and entities, including Sudhir Ruparelia, Anil Damani, and Phaneroo International Ministries. Phaneroo’s portion, now the Phaneroo grounds, will host the ministry’s weekly Sunday and Thursday fellowships starting September 29, 2024.
On August 10, 2024, Phaneroo held its 10th-anniversary celebration on the same grounds, where Apostle Grace Lubega shared the story of how the ministry acquired the acres of land in the city centre and addressed the intense scrutiny he faced to clear the air.
This new worship site marks a significant milestone for Phaneroo Ministries International, reflecting its continued success and dedication to serving its fast-growing congregation. The new worship site will enable Phaneroo to reach more people and expand its impact as a church.
