It’s official: the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has announced the 2026 timetable for the provisional 920,796 registered Primary 7 candidates.
UNEB Director Dan Nokrach released the timetable at a press conference, confirming that the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) will begin on Friday, 30 October 2026, with the briefing for candidates.
The written PLE examinations will then run for two days, from Tuesday, 3 November to Wednesday, 4 November 2026.
