Apple’s Glowtime event on September 9 introduced a slew of new products, including the latest iPhone series, a revamped Apple Watch, and refreshed AirPods. All are now available for pre-order and will be in stores on September 20.

The spotlight was on the new iPhone 16 lineup, with CEO Tim Cook emphasizing that the devices were “built from the ground up” to incorporate Apple Intelligence features. The Apple Watch 10 is set to offer a larger screen and a forthcoming feature to detect sleep apnea. Meanwhile, Apple is updating its AirPods lineup with two versions of the AirPods 4 — one with active noise cancellation and one without.

Although some anticipated announcements didn’t happen, Apple did introduce an Apple Watch Ultra 2 in a sleek satin black finish. The AirPods Pro 2 are getting enhancements focused on hearing health, and the AirPods Max are now available in new colors.

A summary of Apple’s key Glowtime announcements:

iPhone 16: The new entry-level iPhones come equipped with the A18 processor, an Action button, and a dedicated Camera Control button for quick photo capture. Pricing remains unchanged at $799 for the iPhone 16 and $899 for the iPhone 16 Plus.

iPhone 16 Pro: The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models also include a Camera Control button and are powered by the more advanced A18 Pro chip, with camera improvements across all three lenses. Both models have slightly larger screens, with prices still at $999 for the Pro and $1,199 for the Pro Max.

Apple Watch 10: The newest Apple Watch boasts the largest screen yet (in 46mm and 42mm options) and a thinner 9.7mm design, powered by the S10 processor. A sleep apnea detection feature is in the works, pending regulatory approval, and will be available on the Apple Watch 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 as well.

AirPods 4: Now featuring the H2 chip for better sound, the highlight is a $179 model with active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and adaptive audio. The entry-level version starts at $129.
