28 June 2026 – a sunny and beautiful day across much of central Uganda. Beyond the clear skies, the country continues to grapple with political tension, arrests, media shutdowns, and the absence of public figures. One striking detail stands out: nearly every headline appears to revolve around one person, and it is not the President.
