Just a week after adding the new Insights section, Google has quietly refreshed Google Search Console’s visual identity with a new logo.

This update follows Google’s broader visual refresh. Some time back in May 2025, the company updated its ‘G’ icon logo with smoother gradient colours, and now, Search Console is catching up with a new logo, which users began noticing on 22 July 2025, across the web version of Google Search Console.

The new Google Search Console logo supersedes the old grey toolbox with a more colourful icon that combines a bar chart and a magnifying glass. This design reflects the platform’s shift from basic webmaster tools to a more advanced analytics and insights platform.

The logo change closely trails the rollout of the Search Console Insights tab in mid-July. This feature provides site owners with a quick summary of how their content is performing, highlighting trends in search visibility, traffic sources, and popular queries. It’s designed to help creators and webmasters quickly understand what’s working, without sifting through detailed reports.

If you’re managing a website, you might want to check out the new Insights tab. Does it give you a better grasp of your top-performing pages and rising keywords? And more importantly, what will you do with that knowledge?

Which Google product logo do you think needs a refresh? Some comments!
