Following concerns raised by fans regarding the whereabouts of popular car drifter and TikToker Muzungu Boda, the Uganda Ministry of Internal Affairs, through its spokesperson, Simon Peter Mudenyi, confirmed this morning that Muzungu Boda was not deported but rather removed from the country. This removal, described as an “organized departure,” was reportedly due to several reasons, including working illegally on a visitor’s pass.

Muzungu Boda, who has since posted videos of himself leaving Uganda at Entebbe International Airport in the Muveeyo Technique and later from his home country of New Zealand, has vehemently denied the claims made by the Ministry spokesperson in a statement on X. He asserted, “Firstly, I never yelled at anyone in immigration at the airport. The watermelon lady is also not true. I did drift with the kids, they loved it, but I stopped. I never set up a charity, I just started a football club that started with one football and ended up turning into something far bigger. I’m also not the first person to film the flooded roads. There are videos on TikTok every day of that. So, you decide what you believe and hopefully I can come back.”

If you’re wondering where the confusion lies, you know it—unless, of course, you’re a non-citizen 😂

Nevertheless, the question remains, is there a chance for Muzungu Boda to return to Uganda?  According to the spokesperson, the “organized departure” indicates that Muzungu Boda can return to Uganda once he acquires the proper work permits.
