Following the release of the UCE 2025 results on 13 February 2026, the Minister of Education and Sports lifted the curtain on the next chapter of learning, announcing the official reporting date for Senior Five (S.5) students for the 2026 academic year.
In her national address during the UCE 2025 results release, the Minister confirmed that certified students moving on to the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) will report for the first term on Thursday, 5 March 2026.
The reporting date follows the Senior Five selection exercise, scheduled for 18-19 February 2026 at UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo, Kampala, where subject combinations and placement in A-Level schools in Uganda will be determined.
The confirmed reporting date supersedes earlier timelines announced in January, which had set Senior Five placement for 12-13 February and reporting for 23 February 2026, a schedule affected by the January 2026 Uganda general elections.
