iClever IC-BK10 Review – Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard That Connects to Multiple Devices

If typing keeps your fingers busier than a beehive, and you hop between devices, you know the frustration of cluttered desks and multiple keyboards.

The IC-BK10 wireless keyboard by iClever solves this problem by connecting to up to three devices over Bluetooth 5.1 and switching between them instantly with a single button press right above the number pad.

To put it simply, you can reply to emails on your Windows laptop, type notes on your iPad in seconds, and even text from your Android phone, yes, an Android phone, all using the same rechargeable keyboard. No cables, no re-pairing, and no delays. How? Pair once by long-pressing one of the three Bluetooth buttons on the keyboard for 5 seconds until it blinks, connect to your device on that Bluetooth channel, and then single-press it whenever you want to switch back to that device.

On its left, above the number pad, the keyboard has five lights: one for charging and battery alerts, one for caps lock, and three for the Bluetooth channels. It’s easy to confuse the Bluetooth channel lights with the caps lock at first, but you’ll get used to it.

This isn’t a bulky keyboard. The IC-BK10 has a sleek silver finish, also available in black, and is very similar to the Mac keyboard, but with a width of 14.4 inches. The quality also feels close, though I’m still reviewing it. To my understanding, the IC-BK10 looks good whether you’re using it at the office or that guy who prefers to work from a café. The stainless steel and ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) build feels sturdy, while still being easy to slip into a backpack.

I’m curious to know why it’s not a mouse and keyboard combo.

The scissor-switch keys are soft, whisper-quiet, and responsive, making it easy to type for hours without finger strain. For those who often multitask, the keyboard includes shortcut buttons such as media controls and a calculator key for quick number crunching on Windows. Windows users who are used to larger keyboards might need time to adjust to its size.

What also stands out is its dual compatibility. The keyboard is designed to work perfectly with both Windows and Mac, complete with clear markings that make it easy to know which key functions apply to your operating system, Windows/Alt for Windows and Alt/Command for Mac. If you’ve ever used a Windows keyboard on a Mac, you know what I mean.

Battery Life and Charging
A big win for the IC-BK10 is its 280 mAh rechargeable battery. On a full charge, heavy users like a graphics designer, who spend all day in Adobe design apps, emails, and shortcuts, can comfortably get around 90 hours of nonstop use, translating to nearly 11 workdays before thinking about charging again. For lighter users, such as a blogger writing a few articles a week and toggling the power switch at the top left, the battery can last for months.

Depending on the series, some IC-BK10 keyboards charge via micro-USB while others use the newer USB-C. Either way, it takes about two hours to fully charge. It’s best to choose the USB-C version, as you can then use the same cable for your phone, tablet, and keyboard, avoiding the need for an extra micro-USB cable. Regardless of the port type, the IC-BK10’s strong battery life ensures you won’t be charging frequently. Should I mention that this keyboard’s battery rivals many high-end wireless keyboards on the market?

Why the IC-BK10 is Worth Buying
Judging by the design, battery, and multi-device connectivity, the IC-BK10, priced at around $36-$38, is a good deal. Go for it, dear remote worker, student, professional, or casual user. For tech enthusiasts with a desktop and a laptop on the same desk, this keyboard will not only save you from using two keyboards but also from that tiresome stretch to reach the laptop keyboard when sitting comfortably in a graphics designer’s posture.

One drawback, though, according to its packaging, it’s only sold in North America, Europe, and Asia. But if you have a relative or friend like Aida Vee, you could order it with them on their way to your country, or have them gift it to you, like she did.
