How to Apply for EC Presiding Officers and Polling Assistants Jobs
Application forms (and detailed adverts) are available on EC’s official website: ec.or.ug/jobs

Completed applications (with required attachments) should be hand-delivered to the District Election Administrator in your area. For Tally Clerks, that is the District Election Administrator; for Presiding Officers/Polling Assistants, likely the District Registrar/relevant EC office.

Beware of Fake Job Adverts
While the latest adverts are legitimate and officially published, the EC has repeatedly warned the public about fictitious job-vacancy announcements circulating on social media, third-party websites, or via suspicious messages.

These scams often attempt to lure applicants by promising easy recruitment or by requesting personal information, processing fees, or payments upfront. In a recent statement, EC clarified that it does not hire through unofficial links, does not charge any fees for applications, and only recruits via official adverts on its website and official channels. Fake Jobs: Electoral Commission Denies Recruitment Drive
